This past Sunday after church, a woman from the church showed me this quote from Charles Spurgeon, who was a famous preacher in the 1800’s. He was a powerful preacher, and this quote moved me when I heard it, so I wanted to share it with all of you.
Here it is…
“If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to hell over our bodies. And if they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees, imploring them to stay. If hell must be filled, at least let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let no one go there unwarned and unprayed for.”
Wow, a moving picture of Christians doing everything within our power to reach the lost before they perish.
Again, why not share a comment on what YOU do to help reach the lost.
I will be preaching this weekend on “the most powerful witnessing tool.” Please come with your Bible and a friend.
