The Bible says in Psalm 33:12, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” On this 246th anniversary of the birth of our nation, the United States of America has the largest economy and military in the world. Yet we are number one in divorce, crime, violence, drug addiction, pornography, suicide, debt, the incarcerated, and the cast away or unwanted children than any other nation. The U.S. is being destroyed from within by sin. America’s greatest need is for righteousness, holiness, kindness, godliness, and Christlikeness. Pastor Dudley Rutherford preaches that righteousness—living a life in accordance with God’s Word—exalts a nation, and true revival is the only thing that can restore a lost nation.
